Day 1

 Sunday, November 20

We left home at about 1:00pm. Our plan was to visit our friend Swanna and family for dinner and then head for our hotel in Saratoga Springs. About 2 hours into the drive, we got a text from Swanna — her husband had definitely been exposed to Covid very recently. If it had happened on the way back, I don’t think I would have cared, but since we were on our way to Quebec, we decided to skip dinner with them and go right to our hotel.😩

The hotel was very nice, and we enjoyed a tapas meal in Saratoga Springs. Oh, did I mention that it was snowing by the time we reached Saratoga Springs?  And it was also Bob’s 73rd birthday.
